Meeanee Speedway - Conditions of Entry

These Conditions of Entry apply to every person who enters Meeanee Speedway in any capacity and without exception.

DRUGS, ALCOHOL & SMOKING:

Drugs & alcohol must not be consumed at Meeanee Speedway. Meeanee Speedway is a smokefree, drugfree premises. Smoking & vaping are permitted in designated areas only. The Meeanee Speedway & its representatives reserve the right to refuse admission of any person, or require the removal of any person not complying with these requirements.

TICKETS:

No refunds will be given on tickets purchased online or at the gate,in any circumstance. Ticket holders may sell or transfer their tickets to other people, at their own discretion and risk.

Meeanee Speedway will not re-sell or facilitate the re-sale of tickets.

If a meeting is cancelled before the end of the sixth race, tickets purchased at the gate will automatically become a rain-out pass, and will gain the ticket holder entry to the next meeting that is run at Meeanee Speedway. Tickets purchased online will be credited to the ticket holder's Flicket account (less the Flicket fee), and the credit may be used to purchase tickets for any other meeting at Meeanee Speedway within the same season. Any credit remaining on a ticket holder's account at the end of the season will remain on the ticket holder's account, but will not be refunded.

If a meeting is cancelled any time after the end of the sixth race, the meeting is considered to have been held and no refunds, credits or rain-out passes will be issued.

LIVESTREAMING:

No unauthorised livestreaming from the track. Videos taken for the track are for personal use only, & may not be published for public consumption in any format or on any platform for at least 5 days after the meeting. Any person found to be in breach of these requirements may be removed from the meeting &/or barred for attending future meetings.

HEALTH &SAFETY:

Speedway is an inherently dangerous sport, with risk to both competitors and spectators. All persons entering Meeanee Speedway premises do so at their own risk, and by entering the premises accept that the Hawkes Bay Speedway Club and its representatives bear no responsibility or liability for any damage or harm to property or person arising from or connected with the conduct of this race meeting.

Covered, closed-in footwear must be worn in the pits at all times. Any person not complying with this requirement may be removed from the pit area.

All persons must stay back from the safety fence during racing. Risk of injury from crowd strike can occur in all seating and standing areas in this entire facility. You enter these facilities at your own risk. Weapons, knives, and objects that may be used as weapons are not permitted. Meeanee Speedway representatives and Security reserve the right to search bags, chilly bins, etc, upon entry and at

any other time, and may remove any banned item or item that presents a potential risk to others. Refusal to allow a bag search or to surrender or dispose of items of concern may result in the person concerned being removed from the premises.

GENERAL:

The Promoter and Promotions Team (or Security on their behalf) reserve the right to refuse admission to any person or remove any person from the facility in the event of any breach of these Conditions of Entry or for non-compliance with health and safety requirements or any directive of a representative of Meeanee Speedway/the Hawkes Bay SpeedwayClub. Official results will be declared only after the results have been confirmed by the Referee(s). The opinion of the commentator does not constitute official placings.
